In an attempt to standardize the collection and management of Hawaii’s health data and support the goal of the Healthy People 2010, the Department of Health (DOH) established the Hawaii Health Data Warehouse or HHDW. HHDW was formerly called the Hawaii Outcomes Institute, established in 2000 as a part of the Healthy Hawaii Initiative.
