The Center for Disease Control's Youth Risk Behavior Survey (YRBSS) Monitors health risk among youth and young adults – behaviors that contribute to unintentional injuries and violence; tobacco use; alcohol and other drug use; sexual behaviors; unhealthy dietary behaviors and physical inactivity. The Center for Disease Control's Youth Tobacco Survey (YTS) Provides comprehensive information about tobacco use and perceptions among youth and young adults. The Community Guide The community guide is an excellent site for “what works.” It summarizes what is known about the effectiveness, economic efficiency, and feasibility of interventions to promote community health and prevent diseases. National Center for Health Statistics, Division of Vital Statistics (NCHS) Federal government’s official vital statistics which contain births, deaths, marriages, divorces, and fetal deaths. Individual states submit information through state-operated registration systems. Pregnancy Risk Assessment Monitoring System (PRAMS) CDC survey that gathers information to identify and monitor maternal experiences and behaviors before and during pregnancy, and during the first months of the infant’s life.
