Healthy Hawaii Initiative
HHI, a program within the Deaprtment of Health, oversees the Start Living Healthy campaign which encourages and supports healthy living.

Department of Public Health Sciences (OPHS)

HHDW works closely with the Healthy Hawaii Initiative Evaluation team within the OPHS. The Office of Public Health Studies (OPHS) houses the academic programs of the Department of Public Health Sciences. Currently the department offers areas of study in epidemiology and social and behavioral health sciences.

Center on the Family
Center on the Family's mission is to enhance interdisciplinary research, service, and education that supports and strengthens families.  It houses information on program and activities, links to downloadable publications, databases on children, families, and the aging, and other relevant resources.

Hawaii Network of Care
Recognized as a model program by the President’s New Freedom Commission on Mental Health, provides vital information to help link consumers to support groups and personal advocacy resources in the community. The site also provides a repository of evidence-based practices – successful, creative ways for communities to respond to their behavioral-health needs.

Hawaii Nutrition and Physical Activity Coalition (NPAC)
NPAC supports and promotes healthful eating and regular physical activity. NPAC has task forces for schools, worksite wellness, heatlhcare, nutrition, built environment and rural outreach that advocate for policy and environmental changes to improve nutrition and access to physical activity throughout Hawaii.
